Flyers will be sent home early next week with details for online payment if you aren't able to come into the fair. We are happy to keep any purchases a secret if you wish to purchase books for Christmas. Please email me anne.anderson@twb.catholic.edu.au if I can help in any way.

Student Borrowing in Term 4
Please encourage weekly borrowing and provide plenty of reading time at home as the last week for borrowing will be Week 6, with loans due in Week 7. This is necessary for us to complete our end of year tasks. Returning students in Prep to Year 5, who wish to borrow for the holidays and have no overdue books, may select books on Friday in Week 8.
Prep and Year 1 Library Lessons
During our half hour weekly lesson this term we will be exploring;
- the different formats of Non-Fiction books and how we can gather facts from these amazing books. We have started with books about birds so please engage your students in conversation about the birds you are familiar with and help them observe birds in the environment.
- how authors build a character in Fiction and we will look at some clever, funny bird characters in our Junior Fiction picture books.
Happy Reading Everyone!
